Why did you friend me?

(Obviously this isn't a question for people whom I've been IRL friends with for years. This is directed at people I've never met, or only know professionally, or what have you...)

In order to keep my brain sane, and to get me actually working on this, Aftermath on Finite Earths has a new home! If you're interested, friend finite_earths and expect updates!

Despite my best efforts, I couldn't find the "hundred words fanfic crossover" post I did last year or maybe the year before, mainly because last year my tags sucked hard, but at least were better than the year before, when they didn't exist at all.

I suspect I'll be tagging more specifically from now on, and likely at some point slog through the archives and tag them, too.

Is anyone else getting LJ post and comment email notifications from like, a month ago?

In order to log off from the various... um... sections of our system (that's me, uber techno lord) ... at the Bank, the command is LF # where # is the section you want to log off from.

So yeah. Today I typed LJ instead of LF.

Spending too much time somewhere, but I'm not sure where...

How in the world did I wind up with 47 icons?

You know what LJ needs? A "Watching" section. Sort of a pre-Friending. That way you can see what the person is like before you flist them.

Another good way to meet folks and add them to your friends list (or "flist" as the kids today are calling it) is by coming to THE GATHERING OF THE GARGOYLES (Shameless Plug (TM)) and meeting like a TON of Livejournalists!
