I really need a new look for http://www.talyesin.com - any suggestions?

I think there's something wrong with my email.

I sent out probably a dozen emails today, and received no replies.

I know, I know; "The boy will learn patience."

I want to start up thinking about a potential webserial story idea (yes, I think about planning out my thinking, shut up) and I'm wondering what's of interest to you, my readers:

a) occult-investigation teen drama (ie Buffy, but not just vampires and werewolves and demons, oh my)
b) quasi-mystical pulp adventure (ie, The Mummy, The Shadow)
c) quasi-sci-fi pulp adventure (ie, King Kong, Sky Captain)
d) steampunkian occult adventure (ie, Van Helsing)
e) low-tech sci-fi (ie, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly)
f) low fantasy (ie, Conan, The 13th Warrior)

As you can see, after writing the four-coloured levels of power that Squirrelman entails, I'm looking for something a little more down-to-earth.

I know, I know; write what I want to write, etc. etc. Thing is, I want to write it all. All of them interest me, for various reasons.

I could write them all... Hmm. I wonder if there's a way to tie them all together, somehow... not E or F, but the other four.

Holy headache, Batman. See, this is why I plan what I should be thinking about.

Umm...

I was watching a DVD on my laptop while I installed CITY OF VILLAINS (goodbye world) on my desktop, and after the movie was over, the laptop couldn't find the CD/DVD drive any more.

I restarted a couple of times and still, nothing.

Advice?

Ahoy my peeps! I have a request/mission/quest/thing to ask of you!

Describe me, in 25 words or less.

Not a physical description, obviously; I know what I look like. I want to know what you think of me as a person. But don't tell me, tell it like you're telling someone who doesn't know me, ie. "He is a nice guy who isn't going to finish last" or "He's a good man to bring to a comedy show."

Or how about sepia tones? I'm digging on the sepia tones...

I'm thinking about changing my website, as many of you are no doubt aware. The main thing I'm thinking about is either using tables or not. Opinions?

Also the colour scheme needs a change. I'm getting over the whole greens thing, thinking shades of blue, or maybe burgundy. More opinions?

Well, as I said a little while ago, the Website Update bug is startin' to give me the itchy hands and imagination overload... In other words, expect a redesign soon... Here's what it is now: Talyesin's Gallery. This may or may not include a complete overhaul of the site, given that some of the stuff I once found interesting I'm having less interest in these days.

I asked this once before and got only a couple of responses, so I'll ask again:
